Moonflower

Tonight I had my chance to witness
The moon in full bloom;
Felt awed by its resplendent beauty
Lighting up the night sky.

I had my chance to be moonstruck
By the beauty of the Moonflower;
So exotic, pure and so rare;
So heavenly like the Holy angel.

Tonight I have seen the Moonflower bloom.
I have witnessed its beauty piercing
My heart like cupid's arrows;
That leaves me with sweet mortal wounds.

There are times when I felt forsaken.
When the moon went down and the sun arose,
Burning away the soft night skies,
And the Moonflower along with it.

Sometimes I wonder what would happen,
If the sun had no moon to chase every day.
Our night skies would be dark forever,
As the starlight is no surrogate
For the blooming moonshine.

And that is when the sun in me,
Would slowly turn out to be a white-dwarf;
Just a cold empty shell of a being,
That grieves for its lost love.

I would really long,for that friendly smile,
On those cold days, to reignite,
The warmth held within my heart.
But, I am afraid I may have lost mine,
In the collection of false hopes;
My Moonflower has slowly withered away.

Dedicated to my beloved Moonflower. May you be happy and in full bloom wherever you are.

Pain

Have you ever known, what it really feels like,
When your every thought tends to strangle you from the inside.
Have you ever known, what it really feels like,
When your every single teardrop, you know you must hide.

Have you ever known, what it really feels like,
When your realize your near ones don't know who you are.
Have you ever known, what it really feels like,
When your near ones are the ones you start to fear.

Have you ever known, how bad your life can be,
When you are dying all alone, with no one else to see.
Have you ever known, how your life could be a pain,
When no one else can see your tears as you walk through the rain.

Have you ever known, how far you should go and fight,
Before you finally give in to the pain and end your night.
Have you ever known, that feeling which keeps lingering on,
Always reminding you that you'll never see the break of dawn.

Have you ever known, the slightest hint of a secret inspiration,
Which makes you move ahead, in midst of utter desperation.
The heart bleeds through this pen, as I write down these words,
What my heart has had to bear, while living among double edged swords.

I can't blame no one, since I brought this fate upon me,
Like a quicksand it shall pull me in, the more I try to be free.
Have you ever seen a man smile, even when he is in utmost sorrow,
I'll continue hiding behind the smiling face hoping for a better tomorrow.

Christmas 2011

All the Children lay in their beds on that special night,
Eagerly waiting for break of dawn with their eyes closed tight.
Early in the morning they would all, gather round the Christmas tree,
Everyone of them with smile on their faces, oh what a sight for us to see.
The brightly lit up christmas tree along with the shining star,
With the entire family gathered around it, let joy have no bar.
In Christmas unselfishness thrives, and the trust is really strong,
The sole purpose of Christmas is to give, and send love along.
This is the time of the year, for joy and happiness too,
Good wishes to all of you, may all your dreams come true.
We must pray for our loved ones, who are all so dear,
Specially for those, who today cannot be near.
If we could use this healthy recipe,
We know we definitely will remember,
To be in the Christmas spirit,
Even when it's not December.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!!!!

Farewell

There comes a time when the flowers lose their petals
And mother nature has others to bloom
There comes the time when the sun will rise
And the mist around us will lift soon.

There comes the time when our roads slowly part
As other paths come together
There comes the time when a bird must fly away
Leaving its last thoughts in a falling feather.

Goodbye old place, goodbye my friends
The place I saw from a distance so far
Leaving all of you might make no difference
Though deep inside my heart is scarred

A sadness I feel, yet disavow
Goodbye all my dearest friends
Seeking farewell right here,
I'm signing out as of now.

Christmas 2010

As you light up the Christmas tree,
With the first snow of the year,
Candle lights, Christmas cards and Christmas glee
And the dinner with all those who are dear.

First spare a moment for those who aren't near,
Then get rid of all your tears and fear.
Since it's the time for the Christmas magic.
So bring on the candy canes,
The feasting and the good cheer;
Spread your wings and let your thoughts fly,
Put your head up and look up into the sky.

O Christmas, lovely Christmas,
You're the highlight of the year!

Wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year

Baby Girl (Sydney)

I heard that you had a new addition,
A sweet little gal who is quite an addiction.
Transforming each normal adult who sees her,
To a comical fool just trying to please her.
She'll wrap you around her little fingers,
As round her cot you will often linger,
Searching for something that can make your hearts swirl,
Its the adorable smile of your sweet baby girl.
Cherish each moment while she's still small,
And collect sweet memories for a later recall.
For when she's grown up and on her own,
You'll wonder where all these time has flown.
